AFTER SCHOOL ARTS!

Session 1: Sept. 13-Oct. 22

Call the FAC to reserve your space in these classes!

The After School Arts Program, sponsored by the Foothills Arts Council (FAC), offers students from K - 7th grade a variety of classes in all kinds of applications, now at three convenient locations. Classes are $40 for a six-week session. Scholarships are available. Session 1 begins Sept. 13 and runs through Oct. 22. Call FAC at 835-2025 to sign up. Class space is limited.

 If you are fascinated by the art of photography this is your chance to learn and practice basic photography.

 

Art Exploration

Two locations on Tuesday

2:30-3:30 pm at Elkin Elementary;

4:15-5:15 p.m. at Main Street Learning Place;

and on Wednesday, 3:15-4:15 p.m. at FAC

Everyday Art

Enjoy art as an everyday expression through drawing, writing, dramatic readings and more!

 

Basket Weaving

Tuesday, 2:30-3:30 pm 

Learn basket weaving and create two paper baskets and a rattan napkin basket.

 

Beginning Sewing

at FAC

Two classes: Beginners, 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday

Intermediate, 3-4:30 p.m. Friday

Basic skills learned and built upon and small projects made. Tuition includes a sewing kit! Due to the nature of this class, maximum enrollment is 4 students.
 
 

Preschool Art Exploration
