Annually the Foothills Arts Council hosts our biggest fund raising event of the year...The Wine Down.  The event is held at our beautiful Victorian-style home and it's gardens (weather permitting), located at 129 Church Street in Elkin, NC.  The Wine Down began in 2003 and is preceded by the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival each year.  We serve cuisine donated by local restaurants and volunteers, the area Wineries contribute an array of wine, and a live band is selected for entertainment.  A beautiful display of art from our Images Gallery adorns the walls of the Main Gallery
