With the guidance of program director Leslie Fesperman, The Yadkin Valley Fiber Center brings top-notch fiber instructors to the Foothills Arts Council from across the country and introduces the love of weaving and fiber arts to a new generation of enthusiasts.
Beginner Drawing w/ Amber Jones
Did you know drawing is just a skill you can learn, like reading a bike? It doesn’t require talent — just a willingness to learn. Learning to draw can also help you solve problems, think visually, get better grades, and improves your ability to learn other things, like playing an instrument or learning another language.
Adult Group Lessons on 12/10 and 12/19 from 6-7 pm $25
Teen Group Lessons (ages 11-17) on 12/12 and 12/21 from 4-5 pm $25
Individual Lessons for Teens and Adults on 12/20, 12/22, and 12/26-28 $20 (Half hour sessions by appointment between 12-4 pm.)

Tuition: $150 (Camp limited to 25 kids)

Teacher Keary Reid

• $80 per month (plus books) • beginners welcome, all levels
• Ages 5 and up
About Keary: Keary has been playing piano since age 7. He took private lessons locally from age 7-18, then studied music/piano at WCC and Appalachian State University from 1997-2001. He holds a major in music industry studies from App State.
Keary is on break for the summer, but will accept new students in the Fall of 2017!

• $15/30 minutes
• beginners welcome, all levels
• age 7 and up
• must have guitar
About Cory: Cory plays several instruments, has played in several bands locally, and recently released his own album, “As the Crow Flies.”
